Pan Roasted Turnips Recipe

Pan Roasted Turnips

4-5 turnips, washed and cubed
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbl olive oil
lemon slices
fresh thyme
salt and pepper

Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat with the olive oil. Add the turnips trying to get as many on a single layer as possible. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, then add the garlic and stir in a few sprigs of fresh thyme. Continue cooking until they are caramelized and tender, about 15 minutes total. Season with salt and pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Garnish with additional thyme and lemon if desired. Enjoy!
